Steve Dugan, DO
Medical Director
Dr. Dugan has practiced physical medicine and rehabilitation medicine in the Indianapolis area over the past five years. He has created individualized amputee programs and is well versed in prosthetics and orthotics and also is the founder of Directed Rehab Services.

Dr. Dugan believes a multidisciplinary approach is necessary to improve patient outcomes and quality of life. Part of his strategy in rehab medicine is building solid relationships with health systems and skilled nursing facilities to create a continuity of care.

Dr. Dugan is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and he is also board certified in brain injury medicine. Dugan completed medical school at Midwestern University’s Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine with his residency at St. James Olympia Fields/Midwestern University with clinical training at Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital.
He is published on several rehab medicine topics and is a member of several medical professional organizations, including the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the Association of Academic Physiatrists, the North American Spine Society, and the Indiana Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
